Tai Moran, a proud native Texan from Houston, resides in San Antonio with his wife and two children. A dedicated advocate for nonprofit missions and the transformative power of community engagement, Tai serves as the Development Director at Commission Shift, passionately driving our commitment to environmental protection and government accountability. In this pivotal role, Tai strategically leads initiatives to cultivate and strengthen our relationships with the donor community, aligning their support with our mission for lasting societal and environmental impact.

A proud alumnus of Texas Southern University, Tai earned his bachelor’s degree with a major in marketing, distinguishing himself as the Men’s Golf Team captain—a testament to his leadership prowess and commitment to excellence in academic and extracurricular pursuits. Tai’s commitment to continuous learning is underscored by his certification from the esteemed Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University, supporting his dedication to excellence in philanthropy. Committed to staying at the forefront of nonprofit and development practices, Tai consistently engages in annual and ongoing educational initiatives.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Tai finds joy in building meaningful connections with mission-driven causes and cherishes quality time with his family.
