Porsche Ray

Voter Mobilization Program Manager

Throughout Porsche Ray’s career she has collaborated with non-profits, school districts, and domestic and international corporations to develop educational programs, team building skills and project budget management. Porsche was born and raised in Michigan, and at a very young age she recognized the environmental injustice conditions within her community and became passionate about environmental protection. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2015, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy and Analysis with a minor in Environmental Law. In 2022, she earned her Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas in Arlington. Through her studies and work experiences she has gained proficiency in environmental strategies, evaluation research, budget management and analyzing public policy. Her certificate in Urban Nonprofit Management (2022) displays her credibility in community and project management. She’s new to Texas, but as Commission Shift’s Voter Mobilization Program Manager, she plans to outreach, collaborate and educate Texans on civic engagement and stewardship. Her goal is to create an open and inclusive learning environment for partners and community members to share their ideas, implement community initiatives, and identify sustainable solutions to protect our local resources. Porsche is excited to be a part of the Commission Shift team and looks forward to increasing Texans’ participation in upcoming elections.
